Manchester Researcher Appointed New 'Dementia Tsar'

Newly Appointed Data Analyst

Dr Wanchang Lin has joined the project from Aberystwyth University as a full time HUSERMET data analyst. Wanchang will be based at Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, Princess Street, Manchester.

Recruitment Finished

The recruitment phase of HUSERMET has now ended. Further work will focus on the continued analysis (NMR, ICP-MS, GC-MS and LC-MS) and interpretation of metabolomic data.

Two New Publicatons

Two publications documenting our GC-MS and LC-MS methodologies have now been published in Analytical Chemistry.

Newly Appointed Research Technician

Ms Nadine Harding is the new research technician to join the project. Nadine will start the post from 1st of May, 2009 and will be based at Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre, Princess Street, Manchester.

New Project Manager

Dr Antony Halsall has left the HUSERMET project to take up the position of Manager of the School of Medical Sciences at Bangor University, Wales. And after an impressive interview, we are pleased to announce that Ms Sue McIntyre has been appointed as the new project manager. Sue will be officially taking over the role of project manager on the 1st of December 2008.

HUSERMET Researchers Look to the Metabolome for Answers

Manchester Leads Way in Hunt for Alzheimer's Test
